 Today we read the poem out out by Robert frost.it was about a boy who grew up to quickly doing a grown persons job when he needed to be doing what children are supposed to do.In the story the child dies from a saw while thinking about playing.it is important for children to be able to be children and not grow up fast this is what i get from this poem.Today was a good day.

 Today we learned about central idea vs theme.central idea is what the text is about while theme is the moral of the story.we then read a few short stores and had to find the them.we also watched two short films and had to figure out the themes to them.Today was a good day.

 Today i started writing my origin myth.at first i was having trouble with how to begin the story and how i would want to compose all the information.I had to switch some of the main characters around and i think i may have to change it again later on so the story will be more impact full. I did get done with first paragraph and now on my second one.Today was an good day.

 We had got a project today about writing an origin myth that is due on Monday before seven a.m.with telling us this the teacher showed us his origin myth that was pretty good.I had started my brain storming for ideas for my origin  myth but it did take sometime to do.I didn't get to writing it yet but i do think i will do good with it.Today was an ok day.

 We read vavajo creation which is an origin myth that is very similar to the bible.We also read the story the jealous father that was about a boy who got left behind by his father who was jealous of him.i also learns that a myth is something that is not true while religion is something known to be true.i also learned that origin myth is closely related to religion. today was a good day.

 Today we read the poem "I  too" by langston .this poem was about how he had been discriminated to go and sit in the kitchen instead of eating at the dining table like the whites did.The themes that i learned from this poem where that this country is mine to.I also got from this text that black people build the country so why must we be discriminated against so much.today we also took an test that i got a 76 on .Today was OK.

 Today we read to langston Hughes poems.One of the poems where called dream deferred and it was about not giving up on your dream and letting it fade away this poem was really good i agree with not giving up on your dreams cause many people give up to easily and have regrets later on.The second poem we read was called refugee in america and it was about not being free and equal in america and it not feeling like home because things where divided this is something that happens till this day rather it be with housing or getting a job its still divided .to day was a really good learning day.
